Simple Pack supplies food packaging to restaurants, schools, hospital cafeterias and food distributors. The packaging is made from plastic-free, water-based dispersion paperboard that is compostable, recyclable and FDA-compliant for food packaging in the USA.
Why we make paperboard packaging
Simple Pack started with one goal: to replace plastic food packaging with paper-based packaging that is safer for people and the planet, and to cut its own carbon footprint along the way.
The packaging is manufactured with renewable energy. Plastic packaging is made from non-renewable sources such as natural gas, oil and coal.
Using 100% biodegradable paper removes plastic from the packaging entirely. Plastic waste pollutes land and oceans.
An estimated 14 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean each year, harming marine life and, in turn, food safety and quality.
